Zoning Board of Appeals
The Town of Brutus Zoning Board of Appeals held a monthly meeting on October 3, 2011 at 7:00pm in the Town Municipal Building at 9021 N Seneca Street, Weedsport, NY.
Present: Chairperson-Tony Amodei, Jim Campbell, Ruth Harding and ZBA Clerk-Vicki Hickey.
Absent: Dan Landes, Jill Pacholyk and Tim Casper (Alternate).
Meeting attendant(s): none.
Chairman Amodei opened the ZBA meeting at 7:00pm.
Member Harding made a motion to approve the 9/8/11 ZBA minutes with revisions. The following revisions to the 9/8/11 ZBA minutes are as follows:
- on page 2, paragraph 3: "Chairman Amodei questioned if any signage would be utilized and mentioned that any sign would have to be off the driveway."...should actually state: "...any sign would have to be off the right-of-way".
- on page 2, paragraph 5: "Chairman Amodei stated that the property size (1.23 acres) really limits any use of the land."...should actually state: "...really limits any use of the land as per code".
- on page 3, paragraph 1: "(Note that Chairman Amodei is a NYS DOT employee and any insight or concerns were reviewed with the Zoning Board.)"...should actually be removed entirely.
- on page 3, paragraph 5, second bullet: "All structures must be 30 ft from the rear of the property."...should actually state: "All structures must be at a minimum of 30 ft from the rear of the property."
- on page 3, paragraph 5, an additional bullet should follow the second bullet, and should state: "All structures must be at a minimum of 25 ft from the side yard set back requirement."
Member Campbell seconded the motion. VOTE: 3 ayes; 0 nays. Carried.
At 7:06pm, Member Harding made a motion to adjourn the ZBA meeting, followed by a second motion from Member Campbell. VOTE: 3 ayes; 0 nays. Carried.
