ADOPT MINUTES OF:      April 14, 2012 regular meeting with a request from the Clerk to change the language in the Roller Purchase section to state "The Village of Weedsport may be interested in sharing the roller with the Town, but will not have money until next year's budget and approval has been obtained from the Village Board" and the minutes from the April 26, 2012 joint meeting with the Village of Weedsport.  A Special Meeting has been scheduled for May 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to meet with the attorney to discuss contract negotiations which will be done in executive session.  The next regular meeting is scheduled for June 11th at 7:00 p.m.

Environmental update, moving forward, new pumps at pump station?

Eastern Brutus Water District #2 - Controller System and Operator Display

No bids were rec'd for this project. Re-bid project? Chemical Pump is leaking at fixed output. A new pump will chlorinate to the level needed rather than automatically.

Water District #9

Archaeological Survey has been completed.  We will be obtaining the initial application from Rural Development at next week's WD #7 pre-construction meeting.

Roller Purchase

Acceptance of Bid from Vantage Equipment

Re-Watering/Comprehensive Plan

Recommendation of members for Comprehensive Plan committee, available dates for next meeting with the Village.

Ross Drive

We have received a request that the No Parking signs on the Coolbaugh and Mietz properties be removed.

Water District #4

Board needs to determine how to handle the overpayment made to CCWSA for service fees.

Board Room Carpet/File Cabinets

The following three proposals were received for the installation and purchase of the new carpeting for the Board and Code Enforcement Room: Carpet House - $4,470; Home Depot - $4,431.96 and Lowes - $4,109.61.  A carpet sample from the lowest bidder will be available for board review.  

The grant also included the purchase of two fire-proof file cabinets which will be obtained through state contract.

Bullet Resistant Glass for Court

Only one proposal was received for the purchase of the glass for the Court Clerk's Office and the Judge's bench.  Justice Maltese has contacted the vendor and negotiated a lower price for the materials.  He would like to use the additional funding obtained through the grant to hire a carpenter to install the glass.  Any additional costs will be taken from their contractual expense account.

Executive Session

We will need to move into executive session to discuss potential litigation matters.
